Dental Crowns

A dental crown may be recommended if a tooth is very decayed and not strong enough to be filled or if the top of the tooth has been accidently damaged. You may need a crown following root canal treatment and crowns are also sometimes used to support a dental bridge.

A dental crown is fitted over the remaining part of a tooth, to strengthen it and make it look like a whole, natural tooth once more.

Modern crowns are not as bulky as older ones, making them feel more natural, and they also do not have the old-fashioned metal edge at the gumline.
