When I had my last check-up Farid noticed that my right tonsil was very enlarged and was concerned, so advised me to see my GP, which I did.  I was referred to an ENT Consultant who then arranged for me to have an MRI scan which thankfully was clear.  However, the Consultant advised that as an enlarged tonsil can occasionally be an indicator of cancer, it was  advisable to have both tonsils removed, which I am going to do. I am extremely grateful to Farid for spotting the issue and prompting me to get it checked out.  My experience really demonstrates the importance of regular dental check-ups, as I hadn’t even been aware that my tonsil was swollen
